So emoticons are something I'm working on, and I wouldn't point this out if it weren't important.
First off, depending on your theme, you'll see different emojis. For example: :derp: if you see derpy hooves, you have the MLP theme on. If not, you have the normal one on. This is because there are more emoticons in the pony one than regular, and at the moment, I don't know how to change this. I don't really have emoticons to match the style of the original ones, and if anyone could submit some emoticons for the yellow-face-pixel emoticons, that'd be awesome, and thanks. Until then, I apologize for people not using the MLP theme that now can't see certain emoticons, and if you'd like to switch to ponies, either for the moment or forever, you can check here.
